What Corporate Photography Actually Looks Like in 2026
Let me be real with you: most corporate photography is boring. Stiff poses against gray backgrounds, forced smiles, everyone in the same position. I’ve seen it a thousand times, and it’s not what I do.
I shoot corporate photography for businesses throughout South Florida — headshots, team photos, office environments, events — and my approach is to make it feel like the people in the photos are actual humans, not stock photo models. Because they are. And that authenticity is what makes the images actually useful for your brand.
Why Your Business Needs Better Corporate Photography
Here’s something I’ve noticed working with companies through my role at Protis Global, where we do executive search for CPG and cannabis brands: the companies with real, high-quality team photos on their website and LinkedIn consistently make stronger first impressions. It’s not a coincidence. People want to see the humans behind the business before they engage.
Your corporate photography shows up everywhere — website about pages, LinkedIn profiles, press features, investor decks, conference bios. If those images look like they were taken in 2015 at a Sears portrait studio, that’s the impression you’re making. If they look polished but natural, like you actually enjoy what you do, that’s a completely different story.
Types of Corporate Photography I Shoot
Executive headshots are the bread and butter. I shoot these at my studio at the Protis Global media studio or on location at your office, a hotel lobby, or somewhere that reflects your brand. The goal is always the same: you look like yourself, but the best version of yourself. Professional but approachable.
Team photos are where things get more interesting. I’ve shot teams of 5 and teams of 50, and the key is always keeping people relaxed. Nobody looks good when they’re stiff and self-conscious. I spend time getting people comfortable before we start shooting, and it shows in the final images.
Office and workspace photography tells the story of your company culture. These shots end up on your careers page, your social media, your pitch decks. I’ve shot everything from coworking spaces to corporate HQs, and the approach is always about capturing the energy of the space, not just the furniture.
Corporate event photography covers everything from conferences and galas to company retreats and holiday parties. I’ve shot events at venues like The Ray Hotel in Delray Beach and the Surfcomber Hotel in Miami Beach. Check out my event photography services for more on that.
How I Plan a Corporate Shoot
Every corporate shoot starts with a conversation about what you actually need the images for. That sounds obvious, but it matters. Headshots for LinkedIn need a different feel than photos for a press release or a conference speaker page. Once I know where these images are going, I can plan lighting, backgrounds, and direction accordingly.
For on-location shoots, I scout the space ahead of time when possible. Good corporate photography is about finding the right corners of your office, the right natural light, the right backgrounds that say something about your company without being distracting. At our Protis Global studio in Delray Beach, I have a controlled environment where we can dial in exactly the look you’re going for.
What to Expect Working with Me
I keep things relaxed. Corporate photography has a reputation for being awkward and uncomfortable, and I get it — most people don’t love having a camera pointed at them. But I’ve learned that the best way to get natural-looking photos is to just have a conversation, give clear but simple direction, and let people settle in. By the third or fourth shot, most people forget they’re being photographed, and that’s when the best images happen.
Turnaround is typically within a week for headshots and standard corporate sessions. Larger projects or events may take a bit longer depending on scope. Every image gets professionally edited — color correction, exposure, minor retouching — so what you receive is ready to publish.
Corporate Photography Pricing
Pricing depends on the scope of the session. A single executive headshot session is different from a full-day team photo shoot with multiple locations. I’d rather give you an accurate quote based on what you actually need than throw out a number that doesn’t apply. Check out my event photography pricing for reference on events, or reach out directly and I’ll put together a custom quote.
What I will say is this: cheap corporate photography is expensive in the long run. Those images represent your company for years. Investing in getting them right the first time saves you from doing it again in six months when you realize the photos don’t reflect who you actually are.
Getting the Most Out of Your Session
A few things that make a real difference: wear what you’d actually wear to work (not what you think you should wear for photos), let me know if there are specific shots you need for particular uses, and don’t overthink it. The more natural you are, the better the photos will be.
If you’re doing team photos, try to schedule them at a time when people aren’t rushed or stressed. Mid-morning tends to work well — people are settled in but not yet burned out from the day. And if possible, give everyone a heads-up about what to wear so you get a cohesive look without everyone showing up in identical outfits.
