My Event Photography Approach

Great event photography balances two things that seem contradictory: being everywhere and being nowhere. I need to capture every important moment — the speakers, the networking, the reactions, the details — while being unobtrusive enough that people act naturally. I dress appropriately for the event, move quietly through the space, and use long lenses to capture candid moments from a distance when needed.

I also work from a shot list developed with the event organizer before the event. This ensures we capture every must-have moment: key speakers on stage, VIP interactions, sponsor branding, table settings, and any specific group photos that are needed. The shot list keeps us organized without making the coverage feel rigid or posed.

Every event package includes pre-event planning, continuous coverage during the event, professional editing of all delivered images, an online gallery for easy sharing and downloading, and a commercial use license. For time-sensitive events, I offer same-day social media selects — 10-15 edited images delivered within 2-3 hours so your marketing team can post while the event is still fresh in attendees’ minds.

Event Photography Pricing

Coverage starts at $350/hour with a 2-hour minimum. Half-day (4 hours) and full-day packages available at reduced hourly rates. Second photographer available for larger events.
