Looking for a headshot photographer near you in South Florida? I’m Lars Miller, and I’ve been shooting professional headshots across Palm Beach County and Broward County for years. Whether you need a corporate headshot for LinkedIn, a creative portrait for your personal brand, or team photos for your company website, I bring the same approach to every session: make you look like the best version of yourself while keeping the whole experience relaxed and natural.
Why Your Headshot Matters More Than You Think
Your headshot is often the first impression you make — on LinkedIn, your company’s about page, speaking engagement bios, even dating apps. I’ve photographed executives at Protis Global who needed polished corporate portraits for their website rebrand, and I’ve worked with entrepreneurs who wanted something more creative and personality-driven for their social media. The common thread? Every single one of them said some version of “I hate having my photo taken.” And every single one of them left the session saying it was actually fun.
That’s not an accident. I spend the first few minutes of every headshot session just talking — about your work, what you’re using the photos for, what vibe you’re going for. By the time we start shooting, you’ve forgotten about the camera. That’s when the real expressions come through, and that’s what makes a headshot look authentic instead of forced.
Types of Headshots I Shoot
Corporate & Executive Headshots
Clean, professional portraits on solid or branded backgrounds. I bring a portable studio setup so we can shoot at your office, a hotel conference room, or my studio space. For the Protis Global team, we set up right in their Boca Raton office and knocked out 15 executive headshots in a single morning — consistent lighting, consistent background, but each person’s personality still came through.
LinkedIn & Professional Headshots
LinkedIn headshots are their own thing. The platform favors close crops with good eye contact and a friendly expression. I coach you through the subtle differences — slight head tilts, genuine smiles vs. forced ones — that make your profile photo stop people mid-scroll. I’ve seen clients get noticeably more connection requests and recruiter messages after updating their headshot.
Personal Branding Portraits
If you’re a coach, consultant, realtor, or creative professional, you need more than a single headshot. I shoot full personal branding sessions that give you a library of images — different outfits, locations, and moods — that you can use across your website, social media, email marketing, and press features. We’ve done these at Third Place Coffee Lounge in Delray Beach, on the beach in Fort Lauderdale, and in home offices throughout Boca Raton.
Team & Company Headshots
Consistent team photos make your company look polished and unified. I can come to your office with my full lighting setup or we can use a location that fits your brand. I work efficiently — usually 10-15 minutes per person — so your team isn’t away from their desks all day.
What to Expect at Your Headshot Session
Before the shoot, I’ll send you a prep guide covering wardrobe tips (solid colors work best, avoid busy patterns), grooming suggestions, and what to bring. On shoot day, we’ll spend about 30-45 minutes together for an individual session. I shoot tethered to a laptop so you can see the images in real time — no waiting until after to find out if you liked how you looked. You’ll get 10-15 retouched final images delivered within 5 business days.
For team sessions, I streamline the process with a consistent setup and a shot list so everyone gets the same quality and style. I can photograph 10-20 people in a half day, which means minimal disruption to your workday.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a headshot session take?
Individual sessions run about 30-45 minutes. That gives us time to try different expressions, angles, and even a wardrobe change if you want variety. Team sessions are about 10-15 minutes per person once the setup is dialed in.
What should I wear to my headshot session?
Solid colors photograph best — think navy, charcoal, white, or jewel tones. Avoid logos, busy patterns, and anything too trendy. I always recommend bringing 2-3 outfit options so we can see what looks best on camera. I’ll send you a detailed prep guide after booking.
How quickly will I get my photos?
Final retouched images are delivered within 5 business days. If you need rush delivery for a deadline, I can accommodate that — just let me know when you book.
Do you offer hair and makeup services?
I can recommend trusted hair and makeup artists in the area who specialize in photo-ready looks. It’s optional but makes a noticeable difference, especially for corporate portraits and personal branding sessions.
