Looking for an Amazon product photographer who knows what it takes to get your listings converting? I’m Lars Miller, and I shoot product photography specifically optimized for Amazon, Shopify, Walmart Marketplace, and other e-commerce platforms from my studio in Delray Beach, South Florida. I know Amazon’s image requirements inside and out, and I shoot every product with one goal: make your listing stand out in a sea of competitors and turn browsers into buyers.

Why Amazon Product Photography Needs a Specialist

Amazon isn’t like your website or Instagram. The platform has strict image requirements — pure white backgrounds for the main image, specific pixel dimensions, no text or graphics overlays on the primary photo, and very particular rules about what you can and can’t show. I’ve seen sellers lose their listings because their main image had a subtle shadow that Amazon’s algorithm flagged as a non-white background. That’s frustrating and completely avoidable when you work with a photographer who knows the platform.

Beyond the technical requirements, Amazon photography is about conversion. Your main image needs to pop in search results against dozens of competitors. Your secondary images need to show scale, features, lifestyle use, and build trust — all without any text in the first image slot. I structure every Amazon shoot around the full 7-image sequence that top-performing listings use, because I’ve studied what converts and what doesn’t.

The Amazon 7-Image Strategy I Use

Image 1: Main Product Image (White Background)

Pure white (#FFFFFF) background, product fills 85% of the frame, sharp focus, accurate colors. This is non-negotiable — Amazon can suppress your listing if the main image doesn’t meet their standards. I shoot on actual white seamless with calibrated lighting so the background is genuinely white, not just close to white.

Image 2: Feature Callouts

A clean product shot with infographic-style callouts highlighting your key features and differentiators. I shoot the base image and can recommend graphic designers who specialize in Amazon infographics if you need the overlay work done too.

Image 3: Scale & Dimensions

Show the product in context so buyers understand the actual size. This might mean photographing it next to a common object, in someone’s hand, or with measurements overlaid. Size misunderstanding is one of the top reasons for Amazon returns — good scale images prevent that.

Image 4-5: Lifestyle & In-Use Shots

Show the product being used by a real person in a real setting. These are the images that help buyers picture themselves using your product. I shoot these on location or in styled setups depending on the product — kitchen countertop for cookware, desk setup for tech accessories, outdoor settings for fitness gear.

Image 6: Packaging & What’s Included

A flat lay showing everything that comes in the box. Buyers want to know exactly what they’re getting, and this image reduces “what’s included?” questions and sets clear expectations.

Image 7: Brand Story / Comparison

A comparison chart or brand story image that seals the deal. This is where you differentiate from competitors and reinforce why your product is the right choice.

Products I Photograph for Amazon

I’ve shot Amazon product photography for a wide range of categories. Some of the products I work with most frequently include supplements and wellness products (I’ve done extensive work with cannabis and hemp brands like Herbal Profiles and E1011 Labs), consumer electronics and tech accessories, beauty and skincare products, food and beverage items, home goods and kitchenware, fitness equipment, and pet products. If it ships in a box, I can photograph it for Amazon.

Amazon Product Photography Pricing

Amazon product photography packages start at $75 per product for the full 7-image sequence on white background with lifestyle shots. Volume discounts are available for catalogs of 10+ products. Frequently Asked Questions

How many products can you shoot in a day?

For standard products (single items, no complex assembly), I typically shoot 8-12 products per day with the full 7-image treatment. Simple products like supplements or packaged goods can go faster — up to 15-20 per day. Complex products with multiple configurations or lifestyle setups may be 5-8 per day.

Do you handle product styling and props?

Yes. I maintain a collection of surfaces, backgrounds, and lifestyle props in my studio. For specific lifestyle contexts, I’ll source additional props as needed. If your product requires models, I can coordinate that as an add-on.

What file formats do you deliver?

You’ll receive high-resolution JPEG files sized to Amazon’s requirements (minimum 2000x2000px, sRGB color space) plus the original full-resolution files. I also provide web-optimized versions for your Shopify store or website if needed.

Can you help improve my existing Amazon listings?

Absolutely. I do listing audits where I review your current images and identify which ones are underperforming or non-compliant. Many sellers see significant conversion improvements just from upgrading their main image and adding proper lifestyle shots.
